We are a couple of novice knitters who are attempting to ‘blog’ in our spare time. We are Judah and Chosen. As we progress along we will share a bit about ourselves.
I, Judah, am determined not to get old but to live long. So staying involved with life is important to me. (stay tuned for more).
Here is the more.
The reason I chose the name JUDAH for Ravelry and this blog was because it means PRAISE. You will notice I also changed my picture in representing a reason to Praise.
I was thinking of that this morning on my way to the office. Even through those times I call ‘the dark night of the soul’, those times I thought the situations surrounding me were even greater than the God of the Universe He showed His faithfulness to me. Times I wanted this life to end, even praying for it. Yet He was and is faithful. I praise Him for siblings who loved during those time. I praise God for delivering me out of places I had gotten myself into thinking it was good for me when it ended up being distructive. I praise God for the time He sent me to the wood shed, because I needed it for my good and His glory. I thank God for the years I spent in my ‘cave’ learning about an intimate relationship I could have with a ‘Father’ who unconditionally loved me, a ‘Brother’ who sacrificed His life on my behave so I could make Him Lord of mine and His Spirit that would lead me to all truth if I chose to follow. During those years He impressed in me one day he would send in a Boaz to bring me out. Fifteen years later after turning me inside out He brought in Boaz. A godly man who loves and encourages me. He gave me 4 grown sons and grandchildren who love and encourage me. I realized this morning I had been gleaning in his field since 1986.
I have lots to praise about. For the bright times and for the dark times. It’s in those dark time I am changed into what I am to become. The bright times are when I can practice what I have learned. This is why I chose the name JUDAH. I want my life, not my words to glorify and praise my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Your words here have encouraged me greatly… I can relate and pray for you along this journey. I am so blessed to hear that the Lord sent you your Boaz….HE is FAITHFUL! Much love to you!!
